Hybrid: Shellphone

This is the drawing of my hybrid. 

The aim of the work was to create a new object by mixing two totally diferent objects. In my case, I decided to join a shell and a telephone. The result was the one in the image and its name would be shellphone, playing with the name of a cellphone too. 

I used coloured waxes to do the silhouette and the background of the painting. Also, I used pencil colours in order to draw the details of the inside of the shellphone. In this way, I had more control over the thickness of the stroke.
